Knitting Retreat & Gardening Scotland

Well it has been a long time since I last put a post up on the blog, mainly to do with changing my computer and not having enoughtime to work things out, I am getting there!!!!!!!!

Well I have been to Gardening Scotland and the held the knitting Retreat since.

This is the knitting that Trudi made up for our WoolFestival and there was a spare stand so we used it for display.

On to the Knitting Retreat

Well the knitting retreat was v good fun.

I think everyone enjoyed it, including myself. The group gelled realy well and everyone was v rellaxed,

Twins?

Meet Alistair and Hector........Their Jumpers have been knitted by Hectors Granny
Alastair's jumper is knitted in 4ply sock yarn ( I think this is my favourite pattern )
Hectors jumper is knitted in dk pure wool, he saw his Grandads jumper and wanted
one like it.
I think both turned out wonderful ... and what great models too.

Rialto Aran

It is sooooo nice to get back into the shop amongst wonderful wool again,
Yesterday I had one of those days where everything I did seemed to go wrong, but today is Saturday, it is Knitting morning and then working in the shop,
this is just a sample of the lovely yarn that we have in:-

We have some new Debbie Bliss- Rialto Aran yarn in, and are about to get even more in.

We have lots of lovely buttons in and I will try and show you them tomorrow

there will be no knitting group this Sat morning in St Abbs, why don't you come to Perth for the day, why not just come and knit or crochet for the whole day!!!!!!!!
Or why not go on down to Trudi and grab a chair and keep her company.

Woolfest

Found out yesterday that I am no longer in a queue for Woolfest at the end of June but I have a stand, yipeeeeeeeeee

Just a few photos to give an idea what was at Wonderwool, These photos doesn't do it justice, we had a ball, The orgasnizers were great, we had such a laugh, we even strutted our stuff showing Woolfish products on the sheepwalk (wools answer to catwalk).

We hope to go back next year.

Our next show day will be Perth ,Scotland.

Silk Mountain Chunky

A lady came into the shop a few weeks ago and bought wool and the Catwalk book and give it all to her mother and she came back last week wearing this

Her daughter saw it and wants one too or something similar....what is her mother going to knit next I wonder.
